As is tradition at the inspiring hospital, each Christmas morning, Santa distributes brightly wrapped packages to La Rabida patients. This year, friends from Chicago Parking Meters and LAZ Parking were happy to provide $500 worth of toys to that effort. Founded in 1896, La Rabida (www. larabida.org) serves 9,000 children annually and is a recognized leader in the treatment of chronic disease, disabilities, abuse and trauma.
